OH MY GOD it’s our 36th year here at the newly refreshed, and recently detoxed, Sound Advice Towers – how did that happen?
Only yesterday I was a wildly optimistic young man with a mad love of all things music, and here I am, all these years later, still immersed in this extraordinary and ridiculous business – an insanely optimistic older man with a certifiable love of all things music – spooky.
Of course, we were delighted to start the year working again with our favourite popstar – the truly lovely Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Our new friends at The Lalit Hotel Group opened their 1st British hotel near Tower Bridge, and were royally entertained by Sophie, luckily without any incidents on the dance floor.
We also re-Connected with our old chums the Stereo MCs at a very groovy gathering of almost young things. This impossibly cool neon 40th birthday rocked to their 90’s dance anthems ‘til the wee Cotswold hours.
2017 sees the finale of our fabulous Cornbury Festival. We’ve been guilty of having too good a time, so we’ve had a word with ourselves and decided to go out in style this July. We’ve finally secured the services of legendary Canadian rocker Bryan Adams after 20 years of sucking-up, and we’ll be mixing him up with all sorts of other treats as we head for the sunset. You’d be mad to miss out, so do join us for the fabulous finale.
